This week I sat down with athlete and mental health activist Enna Selmanovic! We talked about her life as a collegiate swimmer and how a severe injury changed the trajectory of her life forever. After feeling like her identity was lost, Enna struggled with her mental health for some time but then came to realize that she was not alone in her battle. She went on to co-found the Powerful Minds Initiative, represent the NCAA for two years as a student-athlete, and push through legislation requiring mental health resources to be offered to athletes in all Division 1 schools! Enna is one of the kindest souls I have ever had the pleasure of speaking with, and I truly think her words will resonate with everyone!
